Maybe it’s mp4s that need converting, but previously I had to use this converter thingy to post music files. I’ll investigate further.does anyone know what programme i need to convert mp3 files for tumblr

Welllll, mp4s are (usually) movie containers. If you are converting another music file like aiff or something, try selecting the file in iTunes and go to Advanced>Create mp3 version. That’s assuming that you have things set up in iTunes to convert to mp3… check at Preferences>Import Settings>Import Using mp3 Encoder. Hope we’re speaking the same language here. Oh, and when uploading to Tumblr, make sure you tick the “Yes, I have Teenage Fanclub’s written permission to share their music” checkbox.
